About AXELYUM MEDTECH

A MedTech intellectual property company

AXELYUM MEDTECH is not a manufacturer. It is a technology developer and licensor, focused on creating transferable mechanical medical device assets.

Based in Sophia Antipolis, Europe's leading technology park, AXELYUM MEDTECH develops protected medical technologies structured for international industrial transfer.

01

Intellectual property development

AXELYUM creates and protects proprietary mechanical architectures for medical applications. IP assets are structured for licensing, transfer and territorial exploitation.

02

Technology documentation

From design definition through verification, AXELYUM builds credible, auditable technical dossiers that support industrial transfer and regulatory due diligence.

03

Industrial transfer preparation

Technology platforms are structured for direct handoff to qualified industrial partners — with frozen baselines, configuration control and structured transfer packages.

04

Licensing and co-development

AXELYUM engages with industrial partners through territorial licensing, OEM agreements and co-development structures suited to each partner's capabilities and markets.

Technology — PERFU+3

Fully autonomous mechanical architecture

PERFU+3 operates without any external power source. The entire pressure regulation and safety logic is mechanical and passive.

Passive pressure regulation

A spring-driven pantograph mechanism delivers controlled compression of standard flexible IV bags. Pressure is maintained mechanically throughout the infusion cycle — no power source required at any stage.

Independent safety limiter

A dedicated mechanical limiter caps maximum pressure at ≤ 170 mbar independently of the main actuation mechanism. Safety logic does not depend on software or electronic sensing.

Anti-error Poka-Yoke

A mechanical tubing guide prevents misrouting and anti-pinching. Validated as TV8-A. Incorrect setup is made physically impossible by design.

Industrial transfer architecture

The CIR-V40 baseline is frozen and documented across 10 controlled volumes: design definition, technical annexes, engineering drawings, specifications, validation records and IP portfolio.

Intellectual property

A structured patent portfolio

The PERFU+3 IP portfolio covers the core mechanical architecture and its key functional innovations. All filings are French patents with international extension under evaluation.

FR25-11996

Core system architecture

Covers the main mechanical pressure regulation architecture — pantograph mechanism, spring drive and passive pressure delivery principle.

Filed — under examination
FR25-16588

Actuation and ergonomic interface

Covers the cam-driven actuation mechanism and ergonomic arming interface — key differentiators for user operation and human factors.

Filed — under examination
FR26-03540

Passive safety architecture

Covers complementary passive safety mechanisms — reinforcing protection across the full operating envelope and extending portfolio coverage.

Designed for Demanding Environments

Where electronic infusion systems cannot operate

PERFU+3 addresses environments where battery logistics, software dependency and electronic fragility are operational constraints — not acceptable trade-offs.

Concept illustration — austere environment infusion

Emergency medicine

Pre-hospital and SMUR environments requiring immediate deployment without power infrastructure.

HEMS and medical transport

Helicopter and ground transport where weight, vibration and power constraints limit conventional pumps.

Tactical and military medicine

Field conditions requiring compact, battery-free equipment with no maintenance or recharging dependency.

Disaster response

Mass casualty and degraded environments where electrical infrastructure cannot be assumed.

Remote and austere care

Maritime, polar and mountain environments where battery logistics and cold chain are operational constraints.

Civil protection

Resilience and continuity-of-care scenarios requiring medical equipment independent of any power grid.
